Mtg thessa6/5/2023 “Wait, a … school for what now?” The japanese speaking kid states Meanwhile one of the teenagers is asking INkless a most odd question. “Sure.” CHun Wu pauses to attach the spear tip to the staff, even if such is not exactly her normal on campus. I was going to pass them to Professor Inkless. “Forgot to silence the phone, figured I might as well get up anyway… also we’ve got some results back. “Regrettably,” he agrees to both of her sentences. She comes to a halt at the end of a particularly hard swing, then looks up at Isaac. Isaac spots her and shifts direction, heading her way he quietly takes up position at the edge of the yard, leaning up against a wall and watching silently. Chun Wu is already out in the nearly empty yard, going through kata with her staff. It takes only a few minutes for Isaac to get showered and dressed when he emerges from the bathroom, he glances at the reply and makes a sour face, then scoops up the phone, drops it in his coat pocket, and heads out. Then he drops the phone, grabs clothes, and heads for the shower. He fiddles with the phone a bit more, sending a reply. He glares sullenly at the window, where dawn is already visible, but there’s little point in going back to sleep now. Isaac pulls up the text, stares flatly at it, sighs again. Thessa has decided to flop onto the couch and phone in her favors instead of actually walking the five minutes to the offices. After another couple of moments, he sighs, reaches over, and starts fiddling with it. Isaac opens his eyes slowly, looking annoyed and bleary he looks over to his phone, sitting on the nightstand, and debates with himself. Issac’s sleep is likely uninterrupted at the least. The other kids speak up in their own languages that they kinda would like somewhere to belong, since they can understand Thessa. “This is a school of magic, I can’t imagine that’s as big a barrier as it sounds.” Thessa’s tone suggests she hadn’t thought about it. “That might work for me, but wot about those here who don’t speak English?” Anyone up for that?” She’s not wearing her jacket, which makes the giant revolver’s holster on her side very obvious. Thessa “Sssso uh, I could maybe pull favors to get you kids enrolled.Takeout bagel sandwiches…because she reasoned teenagers don’t need more sugar. Thessa has provided breakfast…if only to avoid what little food she has in her apartment being devoured.Isaac sleeps the sleep not of the just, which probably means someone, somewhere who deserves better is having a really rotten attack of conscience right now. This means Thessa’s place is surprisingly loud this morning… What to do with a quartet of young children from around the world, that were kidnapped, and likely nobody is actually missing. … Which now leaves an interesting delemma.
